This work is one of a series of three life sketches from the mountain forests of Qiandongnan, Guizhou. Focusing on the region’s native plants, it uses a warm, gentle blue-green palette and soft lines to capture the vibrant state of vegetation growing in a high-humidity environment. Hydrangeas, berries, ferns, and aquatic plants unfold in a well-spaced, leisurely rhythm, seeking to transform the mountains’ abundant negative oxygen ions and fresh, crisp air into a tactile, visual warmth — allowing the viewer to feel the tranquility and vitality of untouched nature.
