A white monkey, carried by tides to a solitary reef, gazes upon the moon and finds its restless heart mirrored in the silent radiance. Forgetting its celestial nature, it becomes bound by worldly turbulences—until stillness returns, and it learns: when the heart is agitated, even the sea roars; when the heart is serene, the moon comes unbidden. Fishermen glimpse the white figure and call it a sea god, not knowing it is the mind-monkey returning to the moon, the spirit’s altar restored to light.
